1. Extract the ZIP into its own folder.
2. Open DeadCheckLauncher.exe. No separate .NET installation is needed.
3. Allow the 3.5-second intro and version verification to finish.
4. Select the folder containing Dead Check.exe. Close the game before installing mods.
5. Choose a package, review its dependencies, then install. Use Play when ready.

Version approval and offline use

Version 0.1.2 checks a signed policy at startup, during refreshes and every 30 minutes. Required updates, restricted versions and deprecated versions block normal launcher actions.

A saved, verified approval supports temporary outages until its expiry. Confirmed restrictions remain in effect offline. The first opening requires an internet connection. Download the latest approved ZIP manually when prompted.

Previous releases

Versions 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 are restricted and no longer publicly distributed. Their existing binaries have no remote startup enforcement, so already-downloaded copies cannot be forcibly disabled.

Release notes

Preserves installation, repair, update detection, announcements, companion previews and the existing hosting/log controls. Adds authenticated signed version decisions, protected cached policies and a dedicated restriction screen. The game is sold separately; Android support is not currently available.

SDK and multiplayer downloads are not listed on this website. Community Center development remains paused.
